So Goon Doomsday is a complete failure due to the lack of ability ad vision of the event creator.
So here's the question besdes the obvious "Kill something other than cynos" and "Stop crying on the forum like a kid" What would you guys have done differently if you were to have run an event like this?
Personally I'd have staged out of a nearby NPC null and built small splinter groups training them against each other in mock skirmishes, then coordinated attacks on Goons ratting/mining in and around VFK.
I certainly wouldn't have screamed "LALALA IM NOT LISTENING" for days on end.
So, what would you have done and what would you have not done had you been the original event organiser? |

You started a thread that got locked because you personally attacked a player because he was just trying to be Don Quixote vs. Goons. As I said, well done 3-week old trolling alt attention *****.
No, it got closed because he requested it. I have no personal issues with him, but the event was a cataclysmic failure. There was however a lot of interest in the event, so it's interesting to see how others would have done it differently. The blops idea for example is pretty good.
And I can post on whatever character I want. You in fact are now here trolling me by interrupting the flow of actual ideas simply to tell me you don't agree with me posting. Post constructively or don't post. |

I recognize how fun it can be, and encouraging hi seccers to venture in null is a great idea. Just proceed wih order and reason: he event was about the thrill to go to vfk and zap cyno frigs. Prizes should have been for people killing cynos. And maybe one joke prize for the goon pilot who lost the most cynos, to keep a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
Ha! yeah that would be good. Like the wooden spoon in a quiz. Could be done like a scam lol. Like 3 freight containers and a piece of carbon :p
Or it's could just be a complete WTF fit ship :p |
